These must be applied for before 1st September on arrival after a visa has been granted. Once you are offered a place and you wish to reserve it for the next school year, you need to pay a registration fee of 3000dkk which is non-refundable. It replaces the July payment in the first year. If you are offered a place during the school year, you will be asked to pay a registration fee of 500kr in addition to the school fees. Fees are payable over 12 months and you receive an invoice quarterly. The first payment each year covers the months July, August and September. For people on low incomes there is a Government rebate that is means tested against parents’ income. This can be up to 9000 Danish kroner per year. Ask at the office for an application form in August of each year. You must be aware that the cost of the compulsory school trips is added to the school fee in the relevent year.
