Junior Classes Programmes of Study

In 2011

In Years 1 and 2 students study the following subjects:

English, Maths, Science, Social Studies, Danish, Art, Music, Sport.

In Year 3 and 4 students study the following subjects:

English, Maths, Science, Social studies, Danish, Art, Music, Sport, Information technology and PSHE.

In Years 5 and 6 students study the following subjects:

English, Maths, Science, Social Studies, Danish, Spanish, Art, Music, Sport and Information technology.

While these are timetabled lessons, in the Junior department  teachers are free to follow cross-curriculur topics and often do so. For the past year we have been trialling units developed by the International Primary Curriculum. (IPC).
